🥢🎉🍲 Celebrate (Lunar New Year Festivities) with this Tangyuan: Unity in a Bowl recipe!
Embrace family unity through each delightful bite of these sweet glutinous rice balls, traditionally relished during the Lantern Festival. Perfect dessert to bond over!

🥣 Ingredients:
– 200g glutinous rice flour
– 150ml water (approx.)
– 70g brown sugar
– 1L water (for syrup)
– 1 piece ginger, thinly sliced
– Goji berries, a handful
– Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

🧑‍🍳 Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour with 150ml water until it forms a dough.
2. Form small balls from the dough.
3. Boil 1L water in a pot, add brown sugar and ginger to create the syrup.
4. In a separate pot, boil water and cook the rice balls until they float.
5. Scoop out the tangyuan and place them in the syrup for 5 minutes.
6. Serve the tangyuan in bowls, garnished with goji berries and a sprig of mint, emulating the soft, inviting glow of our suggested photography.

😅 Bonus:
Did you know Tangyuan were originally called “soup balls”? They were renamed in the Qing Dynasty, adding sweetness not just in taste, but in name too!
