🍜🥩🌿 Boldly dive into the Hanoi Street Food Adventure with our Pho Bo Hanoi! This beef noodle delight is your ticket to a savory morning in Vietnam’s bustling capital.
🥣 Ingredients:
– 400g flat rice noodles
– 1kg beef bones
– 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 4L water
– 1 onion, charred
– 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
– 5cm piece of ginger, charred
– 3 star anise
– 2 cinnamon sticks
– 2 tbsp fish sauce
– Salt and sugar to taste
– Fresh coriander, Thai basil, mint
– 2 limes, cut into wedges
– Bean sprouts
– 2 jalapeños, sliced (optional)
– Hoisin sauce (to serve)
🧑🍳 Preparation:
1. Simmer beef bones in water for 6 hours for broth.
2. Char onion and ginger, then add to broth with spices.
3. Season broth with fish sauce, salt, and sugar.
4. Cook rice noodles as instructed on package.
5. Place noodles in bowl, add raw beef on top.
6. Strain hot broth over beef to cook it.
7. Garnish with herbs, lime, sprouts, and jalapeños.
8. Serve with a side of hoisin sauce for dipping.
