Savor a lighter twist on okonomiyaki with this tantalizing green onion pancake!
🥣 Ingredients:
– 200g all-purpose flour
– 15g baking powder
– A pinch of salt
– 200ml water
– 2 eggs
– 3 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil
– 250g green onions, chopped
– Vegetable oil for frying
🧑🍳 Preparation:
1. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
2. Slowly add water to the dry mix while stirring.
3. Beat in eggs, soy sauce, and sesame oil until the batter is smooth.
4. Fold in the chopped green onions.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
6. Pour in the batter to make a pancake and cook till the edge starts to crisp and golden.
7. Flip it carefully and cook the other side.
8. Serve hot and crispy as shown in the photograph, with chopsticks at the ready!
