Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐 (Má pó dòufu))

🔥🌶️🍲 Boldly embrace the Spicy Sichuan Week with this Mapo Tofu delight!
A fiery Sichuan dish with soft tofu and ground pork in a spicy bean paste sauce.

🥣 Ingrédients:
– 400g soft tofu, cubed
– 200g ground pork
– 2 tbsp Sichuan bean paste
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp water
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tsp grated ginger
– 1 tsp Sichuan pepper, ground
– 3 tbsp vegetable oil
– Green onions for garnish
– 240g steamed rice to serve

🧑‍🍳 Préparation:
1. Heat the oil over medium heat; brown the pork with garlic and ginger.
2. Stir in bean paste, add tofu gently, and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add soy sauce and cornstarch mixture, simmer till sauce thickens.
4. Sprinkle with Sichuan pepper, serve with rice and garnish with green onions, embracing the bold reds from the sauce.
