🦑🔥🎉 (Osaka’s Takoyaki and Beyond) Ika Yaki Surprise
Discover the grilled squid sensation! A smoky festival treat from Osaka streets.
🥣 Ingredients:
– 2 whole squids, cleaned
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1 tsp mirin
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– Bamboo skewers
– Lemon wedges, for serving
🧑🍳 Preparation:
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Cut squid bodies into 2 cm rings and tentacles in half.
3. Mix soy sauce, sugar, mirin, and garlic in a bowl. Add squid to marinate for 10 mins.
4. Thread the squid pieces onto skewers.
5. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely charred.
6. Serve on a paper plate with lemon wedges, mimicking an authentic street food experience.
