🍛🎌🌿 (Kyoto’s Matcha Magic) Chicken Matcha Curry
A hearty dish that combines the rich flavors of curry with the unique taste of matcha, reflecting the innovative culinary spirit of Kyoto.

🥣 Ingredients:
– 4 chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
– 2 tbsp matcha powder
– 1 large onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 400 ml coconut milk
– 2 tbsp curry powder
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp honey
– Salt to taste
– Cooked rice, for serving
– Sesame seeds, for garnish

🧑‍🍳 Preparation:
1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with a pinch of salt and set aside.
2. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add chicken to the pan and cook until golden brown.
4. Mix matcha powder with a little water to make a paste, then stir into the pan.
5. Stir in curry powder, soy sauce, and honey.
6. Pour in coconut milk and simmer for 20 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
7. Serve the thick, matcha-tinted curry over rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
