🥣 Ingredients:
– 16 plump shiitake mushrooms
– 2 cups of vegetable broth
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
– 2 teaspoons brown sugar
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1-inch piece ginger, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– Spring onions (for garnish)
🧑🍳 Preparation:
1. Clean mushrooms with a damp towel and remove stems.
2. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
3. Add shiitake mushrooms and sauté for about 3 minutes.
4. Mix broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar, then pour over mushrooms.
5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins until mushrooms are tender.
6. Serve on blue porcelain plate, garnish with spring onions, and capture the essence of simplicity!
