🥢🥗🌱 (Guangzhou Dim Sum Delights) Cantonese-style Vegetable Salad
Revel in the crunch and freshness of this vibrant salad – an exquisite burst of colors and flavors.
🥣 Ingredients:
– 200g mixed lettuce leaves, torn
– 1 medium carrot, julienned
– 1 small red bell pepper, thinly sliced
– 1 small yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
– 100g snow peas, trimmed
– 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
– 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, crushed
– 2 tbsp sesame seeds
– For dressing:
– 3 tbsp light soy sauce
– 2 tbsp sesame oil
– 1 tbsp rice vinegar
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 tsp ginger, grated
🧑🍳 Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, carrot, bell peppers, snow peas, and cucumber.
2. Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl until the sugar dissolves.
3. Drizzle the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat.
4. Sprinkle with crushed peanuts and sesame seeds.
5. Serve on a light-colored plate, high-angle shot style, with extra dressing on the side.
